A Close Win At Pitt
The Cards only won by two yesterday... but a win is a win. Padgett walked away with a great game... and the Cards have now won seven games in a row... can't wait for March Madness!

Another victory...
The cards continued their dominance this past Saturday against Providence winning 80-72. With the cards healthy (especially the big guy Padgett), basketball fans across the country are wondering if the team can keep up this momentum! No one can start to doubt the talented Coach Rick Pitino of the cards. We will have to wait and watch tonight's game at home against Syracuse to determine if the cards can continue the winning!

DePaul Not A Challenge
A convincing 88-68 win by the cardinals last night showed that Pitino's squad might really be a March Madness contender. If the cards keep winning like this... I love to think of the possibilities! The AP Poll shows the team at #23 but the coaches poll has yet to put the cards in the top 25. Williams and Padgett had great games last night to help the team to victory! I can't wait to keep watching this team... Big East Champions? We'll see...

A Memorable Win!
After Coach Pitino switched from a white suit to a black suit during "white out" night at Freedom Hall, the cardinals came back from an eight point half time deficit to beat Georgetown! College Game Day and Dick Vitale could not have asked for a more convincing win! Jerry Smith led the Cards with the outside shot, while Padgett's defense by the basket put the Cards up 59-51 at the final buzz. What will the cards be nationally ranked today? Can they carry this through March Madness?!

Getting ready for Georgetown!
After an inspirational win against Marquette at Marquette this week, the Cards are getting ready to post up against #6 Georgetown this weekend. Can Sosa, Padgett, and Palacios play up with this determined group led by John Thompson III? If DaJuan Summers has the same game on Saturday he had against South Florida last night, Pitino is in for a rough fight in Freedom Hall. But then again, Louisville's home court is quite the advantage with cheering fans. Excitement is definitely filling the air as the cards getting ready to take on this top opponent in the Big East. And excitement is coming up as March Madness talk starts to fill the ESPN newsroom...
